OUR MISSION

We founded Bean United at the beginning of 2018 to support young people and the next generation on their way to a better future.

To make this social contribution, we give €2.50 per kilogram to the German Welthungerhilfe. This amount is used to enable 10 school meals in Burundi (read more here).

From the very beginning, the "1-for-1" concept was an essential component of our idea: Customers are shown the social impact of each package directly.

It is equally fundamental for us to donate a "relevant" amount to social projects. Currently, 2.50€ per kilo, which corresponds to about 13% of our (net) turnover. This contribution is already included in the sales price to our customers and is not added to the price - we sell our coffee at a market price for this quality. Why? Because we want to make it as easy as possible to help.

We see ourselves as a "social business": We are focussed on the social added value which is created through the course of our products. At the same time, we work as a "normal" company under market economy conditions. We finance Bean United 100% through the sale of coffee, i.e. without subsidies or donations.

OUR TEAM

For our mission to succeed, our team is made up of people with a lot of passion, enthusiasm, expertise and values.
